Welcome to Winnersh Primary School.  Our aim is to provide an outstanding education for our pupils.  For us, learning is an adventure and we believe that with an enquiring mind, hard work and the right support, our children will succeed.

We have a strong focus on the teaching of reading, writing and mathematics. Alongside this, our topic-based curriculum provides our children with many opportunities to learn more about the world in which they live. Our teachers work hard to build on our children’s interests by incorporating educational visits and school-based workshops which help to bring learning to life.

As well as having an extremely dedicated staff team, we are lucky to have some fantastic teaching spaces, including an ICT Suite and School Library.  We have extensive school grounds which include two playing fields, an adventure playground and our newly-developed nature area.

Here at Winnersh Primary, the staff have made a commitment to provide:

  • A warm welcome for everyone
  • A passion for learning
  • The chance to take risks
  • Encouragement to keep going
  • Opportunities to share and celebrate achievement

We also hope to work closely with parents, sharing a sense of pride and enjoyment in their children’s achievements.

You can learn more about Winnersh by browsing the website. However, the best way to find out what makes our school so special is to visit. Do come along for a tour, meet the staff and talk to the children who learn here - they are our finest ambassadors, and will explain what Winnersh means to them.
